1.Do the prices of your China tours include airfare?
Our prices only include airfare of China domestic flights (the final prices will be subject to the listed flights in the quotation), so please arrange your international flights beforehand. Generally speaking, the earlier the passengers buy their international flight tickets, the better discount they could get from airlines.
2.When is peak season and low season respectively in China?
In China, seasons for tourism are divided as below.
– Peak season: April 1 to May 31, August 1 to November 30;
– Shoulder season: June 1 to July 31;
– Low season: December 1 to March 31.
3.How many people will be in my group?
It depends on your preference. We will arrange a private China tour for you if you prefer a private tour; but if you want to enjoy the trip with other tourists, we will arrange a group China tour for you, which can also save your tour cost.
4.How far in advance should I make my China tour reservation?
It is suggested to book your China tour as early as possible so that everything could be confirmed and arranged in advance for you. Especially in tourist peak season (April 1 to May 31, August 1 to November 30), it is more difficult to guarantee rooms and flights.
5. What type of Room is a Twin, Double and Triple?
Twin Room = Has Two Beds
Double Room= Has One Double Bed
Triple Room = Sleep three people ( usually a double and a single bed)
6. Do children pay the same fare as adults?
According to the regulations of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), children who are 12 and over 12 years old should be charged as adults. Those who are less than 12 years old should be charged less in services and China domestic airfare than adults. For infants less than 2 years old will be free of charge, except for the airfare, which is 10% of the adult’s fare. But please NOTICE that children are 10 and over 10 years old are charged as adult in some cities such as Beijing.
7. How will I know if my reservation was accepted?
Once everything is confirmed, we will send a formal Confirmation Letter to you to confirm.
8. How will I find my tour guide upon my arrival in China?
Normally, your travel adviser will check it with you before your departure to China. Your tour guide will wait for you at the exit of the airport / bus station / railway station you arrive at, with a pick-up board with your name. Therefore, please don’t worry about that.
9. We are not native English speakers. Is it possible to have a tour guide that speaks our native language?
We will arrange tour guides as per your request if tour guides who can speak your language are available.
10. Will the tour guide escort me to the airport/hotel?
Yes, we arrange a local tour guide to pick you up at the airport and escort you to your hotels when you arrive in every city in China, and the guide will also transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. But if you have ever been to China and prefer to arrange the transfers on your own, please inform us beforehand.
14. What is the best time to travel in Tibet?
Generally, the best time to travel in Tibet is from April to October, which is also a high season. The weather in winter is very cold in Tibet, so if you can bear the cold weather you can also take a winter tour. Travel in the low season in winter, you can avoid the crowd and enjoy the sightseeing at a cozy pace.
15. What are the baggage limits?
As different airlines have varying policies, you should check with your carrier for restrictions and allowances. Usually, each trans-Pacific passenger is allowed two check-in bags totaling 106 inches over the three dimensions, and one carry-on bag not over 39 inches. There is no free luggage allowance for holders of infant tickets.
For domestic China and intra-Asia flights, you are allowed to check in one piece of luggage less than 20 kilograms (44 pounds) total weight, and retain one piece of carry on luggage, of not more than 10 lb. The fee for extra baggage or overweight baggage could be so high as to be prohibitive.
The liability of the airlines is limited for lost or damaged luggage. Passengers may apply for insurance coverage above the minimum value for checked luggage.
There is no luggage restriction on domestic trains, but travelers who are not part of an organized tour will have to carry their own bags as few porters are available to help. Travelers to China are advised to take only one suitcase and one carry-on bag.
16. How can I use traveler´s checks and credit cards in Beijing?
Traveler´s checks are easily cashed at the Bank of China in Beijing. Major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa, JCB, Diners, Club and American Express may be used to purchase goods in large department stores. They can often also be used to pay bills at many hotels, at major shopping centers and for meals in some restaurants.
17. How to ease the effect of time difference on the human body?
Travelling in another country by plane will confuse the biological clock and make one feel faint, due to time difference. So, how can we ease the effect on the human body? There are some suggestions below:
Drink a lot of water, rather than alcohol, to prevent dehydration of the body, because dehydration will exacerbate the effects of time difference.
Wear loose clothes to facilitate the flow of blood in the body.
Walk frequently in the cabin to strech the muscles.
